Geocache Description:

PLEASE park in the parking lot, not on Landing Road!

If you plan on caching through the winter in Maine, Sign Post Nanos are an important and crucial type of cache. I'm pretty sure that's not an official abbreviation, but it works all the same. SPNs are a discreet, quick, and consistently winter and nighttime friendly cache that are great for staying in the game through the dark, snowy months. The very first time I found one of these it probably took me over an hour to find, I had no idea caches could be that small. These days I know to check the sign post first, ya live, ya learn.

I've placed my first traditional sign post nano in appreciation of this sneaky cache type. Whether you are keeping up with a streak, need something to keep your geo-sense finely tuned through the slower months, or just have to leave the house before cabin fever really sinks its claws in, SPNs are the perfect, won't-get-plowed-in cache!
