These trails around batchelder pond are owned by the Hampton school district. This site was almost the location of a new Hampton Academy building, until the town decided to update the old building in 2017. The pond is used for a fishing derby in the spring and a kind resident often clears the snow in the winter for children to ice skate.
This cache is located off of a trail that can be wet at times, but is part of a nice little network of paths.
