This is where I found Mr Fitz, after tracking him for over an hour!
Our Story:
Out caching with Mr Fitz, we had 4 caches in mind to find! In between the second and third cache I had planned to place another cache!
I was placing the cache and looked up and Mr Fitz was no where to be seen!
. Fortunately I have a tracking device on him, I looked and he seemed to be getting farther and farther away. I sent him a signal; and he stopped but then clearly did not know which way to go. I started in his direction when he was 6/10 of a mile away. It took me an hour plus to cache up with him as he clearly seemed lost. The wind unfortunately was blowing in my face, and he seemed to be getting farther and farther away. Ironically he found the sites of 2 caches I had placed previously. I finally did get with in calling distance and he came. We then placed a cache where I got him, and worked our way back to grab the other 2 caches I had wanted to find. In total I walked 8.75 miles and Mr Fitz ran 13.3 miles! What a morning! TFTC Ponil
The bonus, finally found a deer antler in the woods, could only locate one of the 2 and it was most likely from last year!
I often believe that the Trifecta during our lifetime of geocaching is eventually finding deer antlers, moose antlers and a body. I can't decide if one antler counts or not! As it is my goal, I will decide soon! I'm at least 1/5 of the way there!
