THE BIG ROCK
Welcome to another of the Upper Yarra's Secret Attractions. I bet the Aborigionals of the area had a cool name for it like Uluru or the Giant Platapus Eggs, but on my map its noted as "The Big Rock", true and to the point it is Big and it is a rock. Hopefully you are lucky enough to have a clear day and take in the views while the new growth is still low enough to see over, in a few years it will just be a Big Rock with no views,(still a great place in my view). If you find yourself on a well defined track, turn back, you are going the wrong way! best to make your own track through some fairly easy going scrub. There is parking on Brahams road near the Oat Patch track, if you walk south down Brahams Rd about 30 or 40 Metres, there is a low spot in the embankment, enter there and head straight up the hill, (a route perpendicular from the road to the Cache) you will find the saplings a little easier to get through, the GZ is near the top of a Knoll.
The Cache is a 400 Ml Sistema box.
