Welcome to Ecotat Gardens and Arboretum! 91 acres with 60 gardens, 150+ varieties of perennials, and 200+ varieties of trees. This is a wonderful place to bring your family and walk through the well marked and maintained trails. Educational and fun, Ecotat derives its name from ecology and habitat. Here you will find a variety of plants, flowers, bushes and trees with markers so that you can identify what you are looking at. The Board of Directors is delighted that geocaches have been placed here in hopes that more people will come and see how special this place really is. This is one of four caches that I have placed here at Ecotat. There is a parking area on Annis Road and a kiosk where you can sign in and get information. Admission is free and there are benches for you to sit and rest, smell the flowers, listen to the birds, and enjoy the scenery. Much like my Geo Zoo, I want this to be a place to bring the family, teach the children how to geocache, and learn about the flora around us. Please notice exactly how the cache is placed and replace it the same way. Enjoy!
