A very famous place to get checked in history.--Ein sehr berühmter
Platz, Geschichte angemeldet zu werden.
The Wall was erected October 1961, after a dispute over the Western
Allies' right to move freely through the city, that almost led to
another war. The main border crossing for foreigners in and out of
East Germany, got its name from the military alphabet (The Alpha
and Bravo Checkpoints were on the outskirts of Berlin).

Die Wand war aufgestellter Oktober 1961 nach einem Streit über das
Recht der Westverbündeten, sich frei durch die Stadt zu bewegen,
das führte fast zu einem anderen Krieg. Die
Hauptgrenzüberschreitung für Ausländer in und aus Ostdeutschland,
bekam seinen Namen vom militärischen Alphabet (Das Alpha, und Bravo
waren Kontrollpunkte auf dem Stadtrand Berlins).
