Geocache Description:

01 August 2021, 10:15 - 12:00

Where: Apex Park, Cureton Ave, Mildura 3500

When: Sunday, 1st August 2021

Time: 10:15am - 12:00noon - Meeting at the listed coordinates at 10:15am for a 10:30am start. 

This CITO is to participate with Mildura Rural City Council to give Apex Park a fresh boost of greenery with the help of planting 250 new trees to mark National Tree Planting Day 2021. 

Apex Park is a beautiful riverfront area with its own beach/sandbar. The walking tracks running through the area link Mildura to Merbein.

A registration area will be set up by Mildura Rural City Council to sign in. 

What to Bring: Sun Hat, Sturdy Shoes, Long Pants, Sunscreen, Face Mask

What is Provided: Gardening Gloves, Tools, Watering Cans, Buckets, Drinking Water

PLEASE register your 'will attend' and indicate the number of cachers in your group.

Locationless Cache GC8NEAT - Participating in this event and snapping a photo of yourself or a personal item being involved in tree planting, helping our environment along with a log stating where it took place (Apex Park Mildura, Vic 3500) will meet the requirements for logging this Locationless Cache.

Cache In Trash Out® events bring geocachers together to care for the geocaching game board: planet Earth. CITO events might focus on tree planting, litter pick up, or even habitat restoration. They’re a chance for geocachers to give back to their local spaces and communities.
