Geocache Description:

The cache is found along a well-known, well-established, and published multi-use trail system (hiking, mountain biking, ATVing, snow mobiling, horseback riding) featuring very hilly terrain.

Depending on the time of year there can be a lot of snow, mud, and water hazards.  That just adds to the adventure, and what draws people to the area, me for the exercise.

Coordinates are to an obvious short (1.5 feet; 0.5 m) stone post directly in front of your target:  an ancient man-made structure or edifice that just cries "geocache." Your GPSr cannot help you any further; you know what to do from here!

There will be no need to dismantle anything, the cache can actually be seen if you look in the right spot. You may have to remove something small that is used for its concealment. Please return the cache in such a way so to ensure its cover and concealment.

To supply a hint, I took out my compass and shot an azimuth from the short stone post to the cache location, and it's in the hint below.

The cache is an authentic Geocache-brand small lock-n-lock container. In it is a log sheet I printed, some kid-sized carabiner key chains, patriotic cross key chains, and a bunch of golf pencils (feel free to take a pencil for your "kit" if you need one because I literally bought a gross of them and will keep it restocked). Although it's customary to swap items, feel free to help yourself to any of the keychains if you're not prepared as I'll keep them restocked, they are handy.
