Put on your hiking shoes, climb up on your mountian bike, or pull the horse out of the barn and be prepared to be amazed at the beauty of New Hampshire.
This is an amazing spot to hike to with an awesome view, facing the western ridgeline, perfect for watching the sunset. It is stunning in the fall when the leaves change. You will want to come back, even after you've logged the cache.
Cache is regular sized. The cache is located about 3 miles from the end of the city road near Hale Pond. This is the only approach I am aware of, but it maybe possible to reach it from Springfield by way of old logging roads and trails.
No 4wheelers or ATV's are allowed on the trail. You can hike, mountain bike, or ride horses to the cache.
As always research the laws and rules of the area before attempting to retrieve this cache. While it may be possible to take a 4 wheel drive high clearance vehicle to within a mile of the cache, it is not encouraged due to all the private property and private roads in the area.
