This is a wonderful, less traveled trail in the Bergen-Culver trail system near South Lincoln.
You can think of this tree as a cousin to another frightful arboreal in Lincoln, the Witch Tree. However, there's a lot of animals and bugs doing their thing inside of the tree, so let's leave them undisturbed. The cache is a pill bottle tucked in the stone wall a few feet away.
It has a few very small child-friendly trinkets to exchange.
The nearest parking at the school lot on Ballfield Road. There is a major construction project right now and access feels a bit tricky from there. The next closest parking will be at the end of Woods End road, or the MBTA commuter lot. There is no parking on Mackintosh Lane.
