Geocache Description:

Northern Dancer was a thoroughbred who in 1964 became the first Canadian-bred horse to win the Kentucky Derby. He then became one of the most successful sires of the 20th century. He is considered a Canadian icon, and was inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame in 1965. Northern Dancer lived to be 29 years old!  Isn't geocaching great for showing us areas we never knew were there and making us aware of new stories like the little colt that nobody wanted to buy growing up to be a winner!!  See, now you're probably gonna Google it...  LOL

This cache is located in West Delray Regional Park along with a few other hides.  Please be stealthy as there may be others enjoying the picnic areas very nearby or getting their bikes ready for mountain bike riding or getting set to find the other geocaches in the park or...  The park has many things to do so enjoy your day.

Please bring your own pen/pencil and be stealthy.  Please tuck the container back so that it's not too visible; thanks!

FTF honors go to Africacher and Loraxxxo!
