Geocache Description:

Easy two part multi that will bring you to the local library.  The first stage will bring you to a plaque.  The plaque will have information to help you get to the final.  This is a historic location marks a historic survey line, known as the "Borden Survey" in the 1830s.  It was a breakthrough at the time and the line itself ran from South Deerfield to Hatfield, 7.42 miles.  It was measured "better" than one part in five million.  The project inventor was Simeon Borden.  At the plaque, take the small year in the shield and subtract 1038 from it to get the N42.28.xxx number.  The next year, which is under the shield, take that number and subtract 1372 from it to get the W72 36.xxx number.  This will take you to the final.
