My next car will probably be 100% electric, i'm also thinking of a CUV (and of course the enviroment), some of my GC friends drives around in these cars and are happy. There are cars called SUVs and there are cars called CUVs. They look pretty much the same - like big, slightly taller cars. But they should be different because they have different names. The question is just what the difference is.
Perhaps the easiest way is to look for clues in the names. SUV stands for Sport Utility Vehicle and CUV for Crossover Utility Vehicle. Does that tell you anything? Not much? One is sporty functional and the other is… an intersection? Now, we will probably try to find the explanation for the differences between the car types elsewhere. For those who want to be technical, below is a rather long explanation. For those who already feel that they do not have the strength for a technical explanation, here is a simplified answer:
It does not matter much - today there is actually no major difference between SUV and CUV. A crossover is often slightly smaller and lighter than a pure SUV, but there are small SUVs and large CUVs.
