~ Welcome to Mt Jack ~
The cache is locate at approximately 1200m asl, on Mt Jack between Rosewhite & Running Creek, Victoria.
There are a few tracks to explore, and a few glimpses of nearby mountains and if you're lucky, snow, as you make your way up. .
Lots of wildlife to be seen - Wallabies, Parrots, Echidnas.
Access to this cache is from Mt Jack Track that runs off the Running Creek Road.

Please note the following:
Access to the cache is via 4WD, or a long hike/ride from Running Creek Rd.
Do NOT attempt a short cut across ANY private property
Wild Dogs & Wild Dog baiting is active in the area. Please do not let your dogs out of your sight if you have them with you.
Limted and patchy Telstra reception - please go prepared, let someone know where you're going.
This area is an authrosied area for collecting wood and cameras operate in the area.
Beware of fallen trees/rocks
Beware of steep edges - Keep the kids close.
As always in the Australian Bush - Beware of snakes.
We decended back down to Running Creek Road via the Rosewhite track - this may be a an option for the track in also, short but less scenery.
It's hard to find a mountain in the North East that isnt swamped with multiple caches - so we hope you enjoy the trip to this cache
