Geocache Description:

"You will go to the Dagobah system." - Obi Wan Kenobi

Dagobah is a remote, unexplored planet in the Dagobah system. A remote world of swamps and forests. (And for our purposes is in the Geocaching sector of N42W71, rather than the Sluis Sector of the Outer Rim Territories... but, you already knew that)
A casual scroll through Wookieepedia, Star Wars (dot) com (and many other places online) can tell you all about more than you ever care to know about the details and minutia of the Star Wars universe. Far beyond the main and lesser known characters, but a deep, deep dive into the details that never appeared on screen. All about any planets ecosystems, flora and fauna, the physics of certain star systems, how fast your X-Wing can fly, and how we're getting advice from beyond the grave. Folks have pondered, dissected, corroborated, contested and corrected, the arbitrary details in the movies, books, and games into "real world" facts and figures. In. Excruciating. Detail.

According to Han Solo, the Millenium Falcon can do the Kessel Run in less than 12 Parsecs. According to Wookieepedia, the Millenium Falcon was a Corellian YT-1300fp light freighter, formerly known as the Stellar Envoy, can hold 100 tons of cargo and is capable of going 1200 km/h in atmosphere. It has an Avatar-10 hyperdrive... but I digress.

At this point in our journey, pretend you're Luke in The Empire Strikes Back first hearing about all this, and you need to get to Dagobah. Nothing you hear, see or read elsewhere will guide you there. So, close out of your "Jedi space ghost message app," hop in your X-Wing, set the cruise control to 55 MGLT, (to avoid attracting any unwanted attention), and you'll see this as you travel across the universe:

The closest we'll get to seeing this (back here on earth), is in a snowstorm, at night, with the high beams on.

My 1.8775 ton cache mobile careening down the highway at 30 MPH in a blizzard has nothing on his 8.5 Ton X-Wing cruising through the vacuum of space. Well, 8494.95 kg to be precise - including an R2 unit and provisions, like a mix-tape and enough space coffee and snacks to get from the icy wastelands of Hoth to the sweltering swamps of Dagobah.

Original cache contents: A variety of unopened Star Wars Lego Kits. One free of your choosing for the FTF, AND one for the FTF with Kids.
Loads of stickers - everyone can take one, no need to trade for those.
NOTE: The lid is removable from Ammo can. Please take care to reattach and close up properly if it comes off. (The hinges easily seperate and go back together. - I'll hunt for a replacement in the meantime, should one become neccessary)

*Megalight (MGLT) is used to measure the relative speed of starships in realspace (as opposed to hyperspace where they can easily travel several hundreds of times faster than the speed of light). One megalight per hour equals 1079.244 km/h). I told you there is WAY too much information and technical data about the Star Wars universe. An X-wing can go from 0 to 55MGLT in 32.9769 seconds, and can travel at speeds of up to 100 MGLT in realspace. (That's 67,061 miles per hour! Compare that to a fighter jet, or the space shuttle... So, yeah, that's fast!) You'll have plenty of power reserves if the Empire, or the local space police, show up and you need to make a quick getaway. Besideswhich, Luke makes it to the Dagobah system no problem.... so, punch in the coordinates, sit back, and off you go.
