Grace Episcopal Church was founded in 1855, when Newton, MA only had 6,768 people. It started above Mr. Brackett’s butcher shop in Newton Corner. In 1858 it moved to a new wooden building where the Walgreen’s on Washington Street is. On St. Andrew’s Day (November 30), Grace moved to its current location at 76 Eldredge Street in Newton Corner. It was the first stone church in Newton. The building is now on the National Historic Register of Buildings. This geocache is hidden outside the Choir Hall, which is the only ?_ - - - - - - - - ? sided building in Newton. Can you see what that is?
