Cache to Eagle®

Celebrating Scouting Leadership and Service

Reaching the rank of Eagle Scout requires years of dedication and hard work. In addition to 21 required merit badges, each Scout must complete an extensive service project that he plans, organizes, leads, and manages. On average, each Scout conducts 167 service hours as part of that project. In 2008 alone, that translated to $16 million* in service to communities across America. Cache to Eagle is a partnership between Geoscouting, the BSA, and Geocaching.com to highlight Eagle projects across the nation.

Through the program, participants set up normal public caches at Eagle project sites that also happen to be good cache spots. Dozens of public caches that showcase these remarkable sites are already posted, and the initial response has been fantastic. Hundreds of people visit the Eagle Scout projects, and many of them write public notes on the logs at Geocaching.com.

About the cache and Puzzle

While out on these Friendly trails, please be Helpful to others along the trail. Being Brave may come in handy as you head down these trails. We were Brave as we came across a dog but he was very Obidient, The owner was nice and was saying his dog was also Friendly as he stays sitting while we were talking. As we were leaving we asked what trail will bring us where we needed to be and he was very Helpful.

As we started hiking again I started talking about my first dog as an adult, She wasn't Obidient at all but she was Trustworthty to me anyways. My wife and daughter might of thought she was more Trustworthy to them but I know better, she was my dog. I tried being Thrifty and as I was raiding the Grandkids toy box for some sawg, But didn't find much there that they were willing to part with. My daughter went out and was very Thrifty so we ended up with some stuff. So we found a cool area and my buddy was hesitant to follow me. I convinced him to follow. He was very Brave. We were on the way back to the cachemobile and we were all smiling and telling old caching stories. I quess you could say we were very Cheerful.
