Solve this simple puzzle, the second cache in a series regarding the Thundering Herd. This corridor once had iron horses running on it, which is the nickname for trains. So my mind started to think of other nicknames similar to the Iron Horse once. While walking down this rail trail, I was passed by a horse en route to the stable. The Thundering hooves reminded me of the university near me which was nicknamed 'The Bison Thundering Herd'. A couple of schools have this nickname, but this school is in my hometown of Fargo. This Team voted on this name in 1922 in honor of bison who once roamed the prairie in vast numbers so they thought it seemed fitting. The mascot became named Thundar in 1991. A sad occurrence was an F5 tornado that passed through my home town of Fargo on Thursday June 20, 1957 and destroyed my high school. Thirteen people lost their lives in that tornado. A new high school was built, as well as some additions to the campus of this nearby University. The name of the 4-year institution was changed in 1960 to NDSU. It has 9 national football FSC championships to its name, including a five-peat performance from 2011-2015 and a 3-peat performance from 2017-2019. No other FCS program has more national championships, So can you spell out the full name of the college that is nicknamed the Thundering Herd Now? The puzzle Cc can be found below: :

Watch out for the thundering herd (horses, cattle,) on this segment of the trail. I do not think you have to worry about thundering buffalo here. Only in your mind.
