Crème Brûlée Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Jens: I was just out checking up on this cache. As Euler suspected, the cache has indeed disappeared. Under the circumstances, I choose to let this cache die. It will not be replaced.

The Travel Bug Jessie's Dog Tag Bug is probably lost along with the cache.

Geocache Description:

There was once a railway here, but that was over 80 years ago. This is a city cache; you might not want to come in the middle of the day.

Just 240 m away from this cache, six of us had a gourmet evening with food from Provence. The dessert was crème brûlée, and this cache commemorates the event. The crème brûlée was made according to this recipe:

(visit link)

We caramelized the sugar using a special crème brûlée torch.

The cache was hidden just before the hors d'oeuvre was served.

The cache is a transparent 0.7 liter box in a transparent plastic bag. The can of kippers (obligatory in Denmark, not part of the gourmet menu) had to be the small variant this time.
