Geocache Description:

Today I attended an event in Hollis,  NH, which was a lovely one in the local social library with some cachers from North Dakota, New England and the Southeastern part of the US. The Hollis area has many lovely rural areas where there are farms and orchards. On the day this cache was placed, it was a lovely fall day and people were apple picking and visiting nearby pumpkin patches.  On the way, I reminsced about my first horse, actually he was a Shetland pony named Trigger.  Stubborn as anything, and it took me awhile to master him.  There was another really famous Trigger, the characted in Roy Rogers' shows and films. He was a 15.3 hand Palomino stallion who came from a ranch in San Diego partly owned by Bing Crosby. His name was Golden Cloud, and he was often billed the smartest horse in movies.  Trigger won a Patsy award for his roles in 80  films and 101 episodes. He lived to the ripe old age of 30. His signature trick was the vertical rear.

Congratulations to AFamCachers for the FTF.  I am so grateful they found it too as we met yesterday at their event in Hollis and they inspired me to get out, fo there, and this cache was a happy intervention along the way. Bravo!

The cache you are looking for is a tribute to these two Triggers. It is winter friendly, and there is sufficient parking.  You will not have to rear up to get this cache, but it is a  short reach.
