As Scoutmaster of Troop 56, I have camped at many scout camps.
I'd like to see the gateways of as many camps as possible. Take a
photo, post it, and give a description of the camp and where it's
located, GPS coordinates, and what council it is from.
YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED SCOUT OR LEADER TO GAIN ENTRANCE INTO
THESE CAMPS, but you can get permission from the ranger or the
local council.
The gates are at the front of most camps and you do NOT have to
enter to photograph them. The photos are of Worth Ranch near Palo
Pinto, Texas and is part of the Longhorn council. It is the home of
Netopalis Sipo Schipinachk, our Order of the Arrow lodge.
General locationless rules apply. One cache per cacher and one
log per Boy Scout camp. If you are unsure, please check the logs to
see if your camp has already been found. Thanks
