Geocache Description:

THIS CACHE IS INTENDED FOR TRADING BOOKS
FISHING, TRAPPING, AND HUNTING ARE PERMITTED IN THIS AREA
PLEASE USE YOUR HEAD DURING HUNTING SEASON - WEAR BRIGHT COLORS

This is my first themed cache. It is intended to be a trading post for books that have been registered at BookCrossing.com, but of course any types of books are welcome. Registering your books allows you to track them as they pass from person to person, or from cache to cache. I'd rather people not leave other types of items in this cache, so if you aren't interested in trading books, please feel free to visit the cache and just sign the logbook... but don't leave anything other than books in the cache.

You should start near N39-44.420 W82-42.298 - on the west side of the park. You will see a sign that informs you that hunting and fishing are allowed in this park, but there are many well beaten paths through the park - and I think most people around here are smart enough not to shoot something that is walking on two legs.

These are the books from my bookshelf that I originally left in the cache:
(Please review the cache logs to see which books have been traded)

The Entertainment Weekly Seinfeld Companion - Bruce Fretts Napalm & Silly Putty - George Carlin Entropy: Into the Greenhouse World - Jeremy Rifkin Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health - L. Ron Hubbard Joystick Nation: How Videogames Ate Our Quarters - JC Herz The Wealthy Barber - David Chilton Courtney Love: The Real Story - Poppy Z. Brite Comic Relief - Todd Gold

Each book was sealed in a ziplock baggie to help protect them from the elements. When you trade, don't take the baggie. Please be careful at the actual hiding spot - there's a lot of sharp rusty stuff there, and I'd appreciate it if you re-hide the cache well. One small hint, you don't have to follow the trail that your GPSr will be suggesting - there are multiple paths to the hiding spot.

I believe the hiding spot offers a bit of cover from the rain, but if you find this container filled with water - please let me know so I can either find a better container, or at least take something out to the spot so that it can be better covered. I've actually made some drainage holes in the bottom of the container, but I'm not sure whether that is going to help or hurt, really.
