FORGES FIELDS
Walk By Numbers III is a multicache where, like the original, you are given the location of a number of virtual stages (10 in this case) where you will find or create numbers to lead you to the final. This version takes you along a popular paved hiking trail that meanders around the many ballfields that make up the outstanding Forges Field Plymouth Recreational Park. There are baseball and softball field for kids, adults, and seniors, a football stadium and practice fielda, several soccer pitches, a kids playgound and Storywalk and even a Pickleball Court ;-) The trail is popular with local dog walkers and there always seems to be someone about.
The trail is a paved loop, with just a few short side trips off of it, and while it is basically a d/t 1.5/1.5, I've rated it as a 2/2.5 because of the length (about two miles), the number of virtual stages to find (10) and the plug-in-the-numbers field puzzle. The stages are handicapped (wheelchair) accessible but you'd probably need assistance to reach the final as the cache is placed near but off the trail. It is concealed from casual view. Please notice how it is hidden and return it the same way.
The stages are "lettered" in the order I placed them and follow the loop in a counterclockwise fashion from the listed coordinates (Stage A). Feel free to do them in any order you like, however. Find the number on the stage and write it down. When you have them all, plug them in the formula. The stage names are the hints. (As always, it's a good idea to read the entire cache page 
Bringing a copy of the formula would also be helpful.) All the stages are in plain sight (no tricks) and should be obvious upon approach. They range in height from two feet to forty, so no nanos need apply. You should only have to squint for a couple of the numbers. Here is the formula:

ps: as of 1/5/24 one of the stages has been removed. (You'll know which one becuase it won't be at the listed coords ;-) And it's pictured above...I doubt it will be replaced, so when you can't find it, record a zero (0) for that stage in the formula Got it?
