After an afternoon geocaching in the area, we placed our first geocache (but not the first for two of the Guide leaders who came with us, who are far more experienced.) We agreed we wanted a Letterbox cache - so the smiley stamp is something that has to stay in the cache, as that is part of the requirement of a Letterbox.
And we also wanted a jigsaw puzzle as we had such fun doing the cache clued by a jigsaw we tried. But the experienced cachers said we had to do more than just giving GPS for the new cache when we solve the jigsaw as there is a page online that gives those. So there is another puzzle when you solve the jigsaw.
There is some parking available on Stonards Hill and we found ten caches on our walk. finding out about geocaching in the fields in this area.
