Piggsville, also known as Valley Park, is one of the most distinctive ares in Milwaukee. Flanked by the Memomonee River, I-94, 39th Street and the Wisconsin Avenue viaduct (which towers over it), it is quite possibly the lowest inhabited point (geographically) in the city.

In 1997 and 1998, Piggsville suffered two devastating floods which led to a successful flood abatement program which raised the levees and hopefully will help revitalize this unique little neighborhood.
To get credit, email me:
1) the two years on the small monument which reflect the dedication and rededication of Valley Park in honor of Piggsville's fallen war veterans.
2) Then go to N43'2.091 W87'58.026 and give me the the month and year of the dedication of the "project" taking place at this site.
