Did you know that we have a variety of cactus that thrives in New England? On this hillside you will see prickly pear cactus - but please don't touch it! The prickles will get you. The cache is hidden nearby, so please don't search in the cactus.
When placing this cache, I had a nice coversation with the adjacent homeowner Joe. They originally had this in their yard and everytime they would trim it back, they would throw the trimmings onto this slope and it took root. Over the last 30 years, it's taken over the hill! If you see Joe, please say hi. He loved the idea of this cache and he's super nice.
