Located along the walking path which crosses the oldest, unpaved road in continuous use in the US. Hiding spot is in view of the Rye Tavern, also called The Cornish Tavern, after Josiah Cornish, who built it in 1792. It was an inn, meeting place and a stagecoach stop.
