Be warned - Beavers at Work!
Head to the Pot Cove Pond Walking Trail in Cottlesville. Begin by heading left down a well-maintained boardwalk. Once you get past the 1,000-mark, you're getting close. Mind the beavers at work.

The cache is hidden in a mossy area that looks like it was once a footpath, although it is largely ingrown. Look for a large rock flanking the path. In the water across the from the cash, you'll see a pretty dam obvious clue.

The cache contains

$20 gift certificate for the Anchor Inn Motel's restaurant in Twillingate (seafood in season is outstanding)
Newfoundland Trailway Council pin
Pine Marten Fridge Magnets
Fox 40 Whistle
Iceberg Postcards
Canadian Flag Pins
Bookmarks

This cache is one of 30 being placed on Newfoundland's northeast coast by the Kittiwake Geocaching Network. For more details, visit our website. Good caching!

Didn't see anything that looked like beavers' work, but all else is accurate. No mosquitoes on the trail, but a bunch close to the cache.

Found it ! Nice spot near a beautiful pond with a great boardwalk. My son-in-law and I walked up the boardwalk to the beaver dam, found the cache with not too much trouble. it was in excellent shape. I took a Newfoundland pine martin magnet and left a pink ribbon coin.TFTC
