This memorial is truly a hidden gem, where little is known other than its dedication to Charles Leto, who was a blacksmith from Palermo Sicily born in 1884, landed in Boston at the age of 18 in 1902, and became an American Citizen. It is tucked away in a part of the path not seen by many, but put there by folks who were very proud of Mr. Leto’s accomplishment.
