This cache, placed along the West Tower Trail, is within the Aldis Hill Playground. This public recreation area is managed by a non-profit Trust and is adjacent to the Hard'ack Recreation Area, which is owned and managed by the City of St. Albans. There are numerous trails in the Aldis Hill Playground that are good for hiking and mountain biking. Hard'ack offers a multitude of sports activities including skiing, an indoor/outdoor pool, soccer and lacrosse and more.
You do not need to deviate off the trail to find this cache. Many of the nearby caches are used to train high school students in geocaching and navigation. Please re-attach the cache as you found it. The hint should mean something to baby boomers, but probably not to younger generations.
You may park at the Hard'ack Lodge, the nearby Dog Park or on Governor Smith Drive. All of the trails interconnect.
