This cache, placed along the Root of All Evil trail, is within the Aldis Hill Playground. This public recreation area is managed by a non-profit trust and is adjacent to the Hard'ack Recreation Area, which is owned and managed by the City of St. Albans. There are numerous trails in the Aldis Hill Playground that are good for hiking and mountain biking. Hard'ack offers a multitude of sports activites including skiing, sliding, an indoor/outdoor pool, soccer and lacrosse and more.
This cache is near the trail. Many nearby caches are used to train high school students in geocaching and navigation. Please re-attach the cache as you found it.
The closest parking is at the Comcast Cable TV Tower located at the end of the dirt road that extends east off from Quarry Court. Other parking is available at the Dog Park and Greg Brown Lodge off upper Congress Street or on Governor Smith Drive. You can also access the trail system from Isham Avenue, although there is very limited parking there.
