Welcome to a recently opened stretch of road thanks to the NH Fish & Game purchase of an easement. Success Pond Road is labelled as a private road, but it is actually opened to the public as long as you are only accessing either the boat ramp or the trailheads.
Wow...what a journey to this pond. Please first read the parking directions before attempting this cache. This is not a quick cache to get, as you're talking 12 miles down a dirt road JUST to get to the parking. Even then, sometimes the town gates off certain section of this road if it's too hairy. Any car can make it if you go slow enough.
The island itself is very well maintained, although a little tread upon by locals. We cleaned it up a bit. Many mushrooms in the moss!
