Geocache Description:

Behind a shroud of ancient oaks and tangled ivy, lay Blossom Hill Cemetery. Founded in the year 1860, it bore witness to centuries of secrets and whispers beneath its solemn tombstones.

This eerie graveyard bore the artistic mark of John C. Briggs, the mastermind behind its cryptic design. But what few knew was that Briggs himself was interred here, cut down at the tender age of 41. His restless spirit was said to wander the moonlit pathways, eternally dissatisfied with his incomplete work.

Yet, Blossom Hill was not just a resting place for ordinary souls. It held within its sacred grounds the remains of city and state leaders, including four former governors. In life, these esteemed figures had reveled in the pursuit of power, and it seemed that even in death, they couldn't resist a taste of the extraordinary.

Whispers of spectral gatherings echoed through the cemetery's history. John Briggs and his illustrious governor friends were rumored to have indulged in ghostly revelry, throwing spectral ragers under the ghostly moonlight. The tombstones served as their tables, and the rustling leaves their music.

Legend tells of eerie lights flickering between the tombstones, spectral laughter echoing through the night, and the faint scent of cigars in the breeze. Those who dared to venture into Blossom Hill after dark spoke of shadows that danced with unseen partners and ghostly figures swaying to ethereal music.

To this day, Blossom Hill Cemetery remains a place where the line between the living and the departed blurs. It serves as a chilling reminder that even in death, some souls just can't resist the allure of one last, spooky celebration.
