NEAR-Fest is the largest Amateur Radio gathering in the Northeast where thousands of HAMS get together in May and October each year. Many HAMS are also avid Geocachers. Other notable events are held here as well.
The hide is nothing spectacular. It is meant to be easily available to visitors. You do not need to enter the facility. Be sure to treat the container with TLC so it doesn't require a lot of maintenance.
