When the brook is rushing, Bittersweet Falls is a surprising and beautifully scenic spot to discover, off the beaten path.
For the cache, though, you'll have to climb above the falls, figure out how to cross the brook more than once, and do some fancy footwork on steep slopes and on rocks in order to stay out of the water.
Sometimes in the dog days of summer there's barely a trickle and no waterfall at all.... those conditions will make your journey a little easier, but not as much as one might hope. You'll earn it.

Note: Being in the bottom of a rocky ravine, GPS precision is .... not great. This is all about being able to get there. Recommended approach is to follow the brook right up the ravine above the falls. After you clamber up the last tricky obstacle, about a 6-foot falls near the GZ, you'll find the ammo can nearby to the east.
