This cache is dedicated to the ghost of Martha of Brunswick. This 'friendly' ghost has been known to make appearances at many of the hunting camps around the West Mountian Wildlife Management Area. She was a local woman who lived in the area many years ago. One of the camps on nearby Wheeler Pond is named after her.
This cache is easily accessible during winter just off the VAST snowmobile trail and summer months by auto. The dirt roads leading to this cache are closed betwen April and May each year by a red locked gate managed by the State of Vermont to protect the raods from auto traffic during Vermont's mud season. During those months, the cache can be accessed by walking in about 1/2 mile on the dirt road to it's location. Take something, leave something, and say hi to Martha (she's always watching).
