We had looked for some places around Chittenden County to place some new caches. Some of the places were viable but weren't all that fun for us to go. Why send someone there then?
We looked at some of our finds that have gone to the cache archives in the sky and decided to resurrect some of those spots with new hides.
This cache is in the South Burlington City Center Park which is accessible from Barrett Street or Iby Street. There used to be a cache here that was named for the park. The posted coordinates for that cache were not particularly accurate which may have led to the cache's archival.
This cache uses the coordinates we used to find its predecessor. The container is a camo-taped pill bottle. We put some stones in it for ballast. Please leave something in there to help hold the cache in place. Winter might pose challenges to finding the cache, but there's a saying in Vermont: Winter friendly means knowing where to dig!
