Welcome to the first event in the 39 for 39 event series. Over the next couple years, I want to try and host 39 events in all 39 cities and towns of Rhode Island. All these events will be held in parks and I will try to choose parks that haven't hosted events before (or at the very least where I haven't attended an event in the past).
We will be kicking this off in East Providence where I've hidden a lot of caches on Saturday, January 27th from 11 am - 12 pm at Grassy Plains Park. Grassy Plains Park when I first visited it to find a cache back in 2015 or so was pretty run down, but the city has since made some nice renovations to the park and is continuing to do so. We will be meeting in a central area of the park where there is plenty of room to sit and chat and even a couple of checkers/chess tables if you'd like to play (I'll bring along some pieces). As always also bring your caching tales and trackables to trade with your fellow cachers.
This should be a fun start to this event series, so I hope to see you there!
