SLOVENSKO:
POGLEJSKA CERKEV je jama oz. skalni spodmol z manjšo votlino na obročju vasi Poljšica pri Zgornjih Gorjah. To naravno votlino je ob svojem umiku izdolbel Triglavski ledenik.
Arheologi so v njej našli človekovo orodje iz mlajše kamene dobe (12.000 -10.000 pr. n. št.), kar dokazuje obstoj pračloveka v Triglavskem pogorju pred poljedelskimi kulturami. To naj bi bila najstarejša najdba bivanja človeka na tem koncu Slovenije. Vsi predmeti so shranjeni v pokranjskem muzeju na Blejskem gradu. Ob izkopavanju sta bila najdena tudi bronasti kovanec in bronasti prstan iz kasnejšega časa naseljevanja starih Slovanov.
Zaklad je skrit v bližini. Za končne koordinate je potreben daljši sprehod v dolžini okoli 5 kilometrov po Miklavževi poti.
MIKLAVŽEVA POT je dobila ime po zaščitniku cerkve sv. Miklavža iz leta 1428 v Mevkužu. Je baročna cerkev, ki se ponaša z lepo ohranjenim gotskim prezbiterijem in freskami. Pred cerkvijo stoji korito z izvirsko Miklavževo vodo, kateri domačini pripisujejo zdravilne lastnosti. Tudi z analizo je bila dokazana izredna kvaliteta izvirske vode. Predlagam, da naredite požirek, preden nadaljujete.
Na poti se nam razkrije ena legenda, in sicer o Hudovernikovem Andreju, ki naj bi se, ob tem ko so ga vaščani "mrtvega" nesli k pogrebu, ob križu, kjer so zbrani molili za pokojnega, nenadoma prebudil. Po tem dogodku je živel še mnogo let, pravijo pa, da o dogodku ni želel govoriti, prav tako se ni več smejal, spat pa naj bi hodil kar v krsto.
Ko nadaljujete pot, boste šli mimo posebnosti, ki je edinstvena v Sloveniji. Pri prečkanju reke Radovne nas sredi mostu pritegne čudovito stolpno znamenje svetega Florjana in svetega Janeza Nepomuka, ki kot pilot stoj sredi reke.

Despite its name (cerkev = church in Slovene), POGLEJSKA CERKEV is actually a cave or rock shelter with a small cavern on the outskirts of the village of Poljšica near Zgornje Gorje. This natural cave was hollowed out by the Triglav glacier during its retreat. Archeologists discovered human tools in the cave dating from the Neolithic Period (12,000 - 10,000 BC), which proves the existence of prehistoric man in the Triglav mountains prior to agricultural cultures. It is said to be the oldest find of human habitation in this part of Slovenia. All the found items are stored in Bled Castle Museum. During the excavations, a bronce coin and ring dating from the later period of the settlement of the ancient Slavs were also found.
The treasure is hidden nearby. To get the final coordinates, you have to take a longer walk of around 5 kilometers along the St. Nicholas Trail.
The ST. NICHOLAS TRAIL is named after the patron saint of the church of St. Nicholas from 1428 in Mevkuž. It is a Baroque church that boasts a beautifully preserved Gothic presbytery and frescoes. In front of the church stands a trough with spring water, which the locals attach great importance to and which is said to have many healing qualities. The exceptional quality of the spring water was also proven by analysis. I suggest you take a sip before continuing.
Along the way, you will also find out about the legend of Hudovernikov Andrej, who, according to legend, suddenly woke up when the villagers were carrying his "dead" body to his funeral, by the cross, where the congregation had gathered to pray for the deceased. He lived for many years after this event, but it is said that he did not want to talk about what had happened, and he also stopped smiling. According to legend he always slept in the coffin after this tragic event.
As you continue your walk, you will pass a feature that is unique in Slovenia. When crossing the Radovna River, in the middle of the bridge, you will see the attractive tower shrine of St. Florjan and St. John of Nepomuk. The shrine is supported by a pillar that stands in the middle of the river.
