הנכם נמצאים בכניסה התחתונה לגן לזכרה של יונה זייד.
יונה זייד, לבית גלנטר, האישה שלצידו של שאול זייד מאז נישאו בשנת 1950. ילידת 1929 רוסיה, בת למשפחה מכובדת בעלת רקע דתי, שעסקה במסחר. עלתה עם הוריה לארץ ישראל בשנת 1934, וכך הגשימו את חזונם. מאז נטועה יונה בהוויה הארצישראלית, גדלה בחיפה וסיימה את לימודיה בבית ספר "ויצ"ו". משחר נעוריה גדלה בבית שבו לתת, לעזור, לסייע לחלש היה ערך מקודש.
יונה התמידה בפעילות התנדבותית, גם בשנים, בהם התרחבה המשפחה והיא עסקה בגידול וחינוך הילדים . עם הגעתם ארצה של גלי העלייה הגדולים, נרתמה לעבודה במעברות, עסקה בהדרכה במועדוני נוער ובמתן סיוע בחבלי הקליטה הראשונים. בשנות השישים עסקה במתן בסתר וסיוע למשפחות חסרות כל. בשנות השבעים המשיכה יונה בסיוע לנזקקים ובעזרה הדדית. בשנות השמונים, הצטרפה להנהלת "גג לחייל המשוחרר", ארגון המסייע לחיילים משוחררים, הזקוקים לקורת גג ותמיכה בתקופת הלימודים בחיפה ובסביבתה - בתפקיד זה התמידה במשך 18 שנים ברציפות. בנוסף, יונה עסקה עד שהמחלה הכריעה אותה בפעילות ענפה בארגונים התנדבותיים "ויצ"ו, "בני ברית" ועוד. על פעילותה ההתנדבותית ועזרתה לאורך שנות חיים הוענק למתנדבת בכל רמ"ח אבריה, עיטור "יקירת העיר" חיפה לשנת תשס"ד.
בכניסה לגן ישנו שלט הסבר על הגן. הגן מלא בעצי פרי שונים חלקם הגדול משבעת המינים וגם בצמחי תבלין. בעונה המתאימה השסק כאן נהדר.
על מנת למצוא את המטמון יש למצוא את ארבעת התחנות שבכל אחת מהן יש למצוא על או ליד, קוד של כמה ספרות. אני מצרף תמונה של כול אחת מהתחנות.

You are at the lower entrance to the garden in memory of Yona Zaid.
Yona Zaid, to the house of Galanter, Shaul Zaid's wife since they married in 1950. Born in 1929 in Russia, the daughter of a respectable family with a religious background, which was engaged in commerce. She immigrated with her parents to Eretz Israel in 1934, thus realizing their vision. Since then, Yona has been rooted in the Israeli experience, grew up in Haifa and graduated from WIZO School. From early youth she grew up in a home where giving, helping, and aiding the weak was a sacred value.
Yona continued her volunteer activities, even during the years of her family expansion and she was engaged in raising and educating the children. When the large waves of immigration arrived in Israel, she enlisted to work in the
"ma-abarot" and engaged in guidance at the youth clubs and provided assistance during the first period of "Aliya". In the 1960s, she was engaged in secretly giving and helping destitute families. In the 1970s, Yona continued to help the needy and help each other. In the 1980s, she joined the management of "Roof for the Discharged Soldier", an organization that assists discharged soldiers in need of shelter and support during their studies in Haifa and its surroundings - in this position she continued for 18 consecutive years. In addition, Yona worked until the illness overwhelmed her in extensive activities in voluntary organizations "WIZO", "B'nai B'rith" and more. For her volunteer activity and assistance throughout her life, a volunteer at every fiber of her body, she was awarded in the year 2004 the "Darling of the City" award in Haifa.
At the entrance to the garden there is an explanation sign about the garden. The garden is full of various fruit trees, most of them of the seven species, as well as herbs. In the right season the loquat here is great.
