There is an exit from the river after about 400m on the north bank, a small muddy "beach". It is then a few hundred metres to the main Lockmeadow car park. A preferred take-out point can be found by continuing just round the corner until you come to a concrete wall on the left bank. This is close to the smaller part of Lockmeadow Car Park.
