Geocache Description:

The theme of this cache is books!

This cache is hidden in Indian Hills Park, a fairly large but little-known park on the northeastern side of Columbia. It has two playgrounds (though one is under renovation), several athletic fields, trails, and an 18-hole disc golf course.

In case you haven't guessed it by now, this is a book-related cache. You don't have to trade anything, but if you do, please make it a book, or a magazine, or a periodical, or a...you get the idea.

The cache container is a larger-than-normal ammo can, marked with a geocaching sticker. It's hidden fairly near the disc golf course, but in an area where hopefully only the most inept of golfers would venture. Keep an eye out for thorns - I cleared out the ones in the vicinity of the cache (and scraped my arms up pretty good in the process), but there's still a few annoying thorn bushes in the area. Also keep half an eye out for disc golfers - I've encountered them in parks in all kinds of bizarre times and weather conditions.

Please replace the natural cover as you find it, and be aware that it may take a bit of wriggling and/or force to get the cache in and out of its hiding spot. Good luck!

Note: If you're interested in books and geocaching, you may be interested in Bookcrossing. It's a little like a combination of book swapping and travel bugs - books are 'released' into the wild to be passed off from person to person. Each carries a sticker with an ID code that allows the movement of the book to be tracked online via the web site.

I forgot to include some stickers in the cache, but one of the original books is a Bookcrossing book. If you think it might be up your alley, then I would encourage you to tag your book with a Bookcrossing sticker before you drop it off here.
