Geocache Description:

A geocache for brushing up on cryptography.
Carpe cache!

The coordinates as given above are only partially
correct. You have to do a little deciphering
and work with Roman numerals to find the decimal
parts of the minutes.

Find the Caesar forward shift value for this cipher:

OWTLMV OIBM XIZS VMMLA UWZM OMWKIKPMA!

and let that value be A (between 1 and 13). Then, let
C=A cubed. Now, figure out the values of these
Roman numerals:

B="MCCLXXVI"
D="DCLXXXVII"

Let E=B-(2*C), and F=D+(C/2). Now, you know where to go!
The cache coordinates are:

N 37 46.E
W 122 28.F

When you find the very prominent, and apropos, landmark
very close to the coordinates you calculated above,
go XX feet eastward on the path, and then go XX feet
northward and look at the base of the tree. The cache
is a green index card case.

Please cover the cache well with twigs and leaves
when you replace it.

Initial contents: log book; pen; camera; tootsie rolls
and tootsie pops galore!

Good luck! And carpe cache!

*** The hint is a total spoiler-
*** the cache coordinates are given.
