OLDEST CACHE IN NW ARKANSAS ... place June 2001 !!! This trek begins in Bella Vista, Arkansas at the beautiful Tanyard Creek Nature Trails. The old red white one-gallon Coleman thermos has been replaced by a large forest green ammo box. There are two Travel bugs inside. Be the first to rediscover it.
Good news! Ladybug and I are thrilled about the 100s of geocachers who have enjoyed Cornucopia for the last 15 years! Lady Bug and I have returned to our old stomping ground in NW Arkansas this April (2016) and upgraded the cache so it can last another 15 years. It's wonderful to have been geocaching pioneers in NW Arkansas. If you've been there before, plan to go back to take part in geocaching history. HAPPY HUNTING

This is a beautiful area with scenic hiking trails. Be prepared to get your feet wet, watch out for the little bit of poison ivy, and there is a short but steep (35 degrees) climb somewhere along the way. Although there are foot bridges, waterfalls, well worn trails, lakes and posted placards describing local flora and fauna, this prize is not exactly on the beaten path. But the scenery and the goodies in the cache itself make the trek worthwhile. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy nature.
NEW CONTENTS: Log Book and Pencil, First-aid Kit (please to NOT take his), bike lock, stickers, orange pencil, earrings, toy car, ball with bell, magnet, travel bugs (2, one only goes East, the other only West), jumping frog, chipmunk, poker chips (2) and a weird bead thingy ... of course, this will change in with each discovery.
