How Geocaching Works
In a County Park, 20 feet off of a maintained level trail. 24-hour access, and lighting until 10:00pm.
The cache is located in Sawyer County’s only park. It is named “Hatchery Creek Park” because there used to be a fish hatchery here a few years ago. The remains of the hatchery are farther into the next section of the park.
This section is open 24 hours a day, and is lighted at night, from dusk to 10:00pm. This would be an ideal “night cache”.
You are looking for a standard green ammo box, and is located about 20 feet off of a level mowed trail.
In the winter, there are groomed cross-country ski trails here, so you can practice if you are into that.
Starting cache contents:
1 baseball
4 harmonicas
2 carabineers
1 sunglass
1 flashlight
6 different mini-decks of card games
2 mini-packs of Kleenex
2 car cup holders
1 Douglet figurine of a girl (serial #120)
1 logbook
2 pencils
Please trade fairly, and Happy Hunting!!!
Thanks, Douglet
