Take SH 83 turn left just before the Maerewhenua river at Duntroon, the road to Elephant Rocks is sign posted from SH 83, it's about 6 km's to the rocks
The Cache is above ground but invisible from 0 m the terrain is easy, this is a popular rock-climbing area, if you have been to castle rock in Canterbury it is similar, the rocks are full of fossils quite interesting, This is my first Geo-Cache, hope all goes well.
Cache is a small Berocca type container at this stage
