Geocache Description:

Trumans Beach Punakaki 6m asl

Trumans
When you park on the main road, watch for the delightful reflections of the Nikau palms in the pool across the road from the track -- it makes a good photo.
Take note to keep to the path when you sight the wet rocks, as there have been lives lost on the point with people loosing their footing and sliding over. The rocks below are somewhat uncompromising.
Follow the track down to the beach, the waypoint is close to the waterfall and mini-ecosystem beneath it.

From here as follows, scramble up the debris, and confine your hunt to the flax bushes. The cache is beneath a rock, beneath a bush. Careful not to follow the trail too far, as when it looked unsafe, I stopped and hid the cache.

The cache is a 200ml rectangular Klip it container containing a logbook, pencil and geocache disclaimer.

Make sure you go on to the little bay round the corner, if the tide is right, and see the sea cave under the cliffs.
