Geocache Description:

The cache was stolen sometime in March. It is still a great hike, the mobile made out of old bike parts is still at the location. A new cache will be placed near this site in late June. Look for the update then. This cache is located next to a scenic creek on the Mother of All Downhill mountain bike trail.

These directions will get you to the “MOTHER” cache. This is a difficult trail to follow; use these waypoints to stay on the trail and find the cache. To the “Mother” cache… N 26° 25.127’ E 127° 46.624’ From Kadena Circle, drive North on HWY 58. Go past the Oki Ham processing plant with the big cow and pig statues in front of it. The first traffic light past Oki Ham is waypoint #1. {#1} N 26° 24.823’ E 127° 45.827’ - Turn right off HWY 58 {#2} N 26° 24.773’ E 127° 45.932’ - take the left branch in the road {#3} N 26° 24.735’ E 127° 46.076’ - Park car and follow fence line to waypoint 4. {#4} N 26° 24.942’ E 127° 46.463’ - turn Left at 3-way fork in dirt road, go 20m to waypoint 5. {#5} N 26° 24.955’ E 127° 46.464’ - Take left fork (goes downhill) {#6} N 26° 24.999’ E 127° 46.509 - Cross metal rail bridge (be careful, there is no middle of the bridge) {#7} N 26° 25.093’ E 127° 46.531’ - Road forks, go right (past power line tower, uphill then downhill) {#8} N 26° 25.148’ E 127° 46.583’ - In the saddle, turn right off dirt road onto small trail and head downhill. Go to right along the creek. {#9} N 26° 25.127’ E 127° 46.624’ - Look for the orange can in the middle of the offering to the cycle Gods. To log this cache just find the mobile and enter the location from your GPS. We hope you enjoy the hike, it is a good trail for your four-legged friends.
