This is a virtual cache, a quiz of your tour of the Kings Mountain
Battlefield. The listed landmark is the beginning of your quiz at
the cache. There are seven waypoints, beginning and ending at
waypoint 1.
There is no need to go off trail and the trail is paved and not
hard at all. It is 1.5 miles long with a couple of short offshoots
and only one small uphill walk. The trail will take you in a circle
around the hill upon which American Patriots defeated American
Tories led by British officer Patrick Ferguson. There are
historical markers, benches and monuments all along the trail. Have
fun and learn something very interesting!!! After your search,
enjoy the air conditioned education movie in the visitor
center!
