While we were on Maui we enjoyed visiting several virtual caches and we decided to make one of our own. We were on the way back from the Iao Needle when we discovered this site. To log this as a find, email me the name of the chief of Maui who lived and worshiped here in the 1760's.

From this site you get a nice view of the Kahului harbor. Be sure to walk the 100 feet to the top of the hill to see the ruins.

Last virtual on Maui that I hadn't done. I will see how the picture came out. E-mail on its way. 2nd to the last cache as will be leaving tomorrow afternoon and heading back to rainy Oregon. Had a great visit.

Geodriver kept saying: where are we going? I was as surprised as he was as the road was closed and the site not activated. We enjoyed the view and the ruins. I will send the name as soon as the little scrap of paper I put it on surfaces.
